Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef
1-2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. garlic powder
salt & pepper to taste
2 Tbsp. each olive oil and butter
1 medium onion, diced
8-16 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 tbsp. flour
1-2 cups beef broth
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. sour cream
1 lb. egg noodles
Instructions:
1. In skillet, season beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Brown beef until cooked through.
2. Remove beef to a paper towel-lined plate. Add olive oil and butter to pan, and cook mushrooms and onions until tender. Sprinkle with flour and stir to coat.
3. Add beef back to pan and combine. Add broth and mushroom soup. Whisk together thoroughly and stir into beef & veggies. Cook covered on low heat for 20-30 minutes, until thickened.
4. Meanwhile, boil egg noodles until done.
5. Just before serving, add sour cream and mix until creamy. Serve over egg noodles.
