Ingredients:

12 oz. linguini

2 tbsp. butter

2 tbsp. flour

1/2 tsp. salt

1 12-oz. can evaporated milk

1 can mushroom pieces

1 1/3 c. chicken broth

4 c. cubed ham

1/2 c. grated Romano or mozzarella cheese

 

Instructions:

1. Cook linguini in a large pot. Drain and return to pot.

2. Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in flour and salt. Add evaporated milk. Bring to a boil, constantly stirring. Add liquid from mushrooms and chicken broth. Cook until bubbly and thickened.

3. Mix cheese, ham, and mushrooms into sauce. Add to linguini and toss to combine.
