Ingredients:

2 c. cooked, chopped chicken (or canned chicken)

1 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened

1/2 pkg. frozen spinach, thawed & drained

2 tbsp. milk

salt to taste

1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs

2 8-oz. pkgs. refrigerated crescent rolls

2 tbsp. butter, melted

 

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. In a medium bowl, mix together chicken, cream cheese, spinach, milk, and salt.

3. Unroll crescent rolls and press dough together along diagonal perforations to make 4 rectangles from each tube.

4. Place about 1/4 c. filling on one side of dough, leaving 1" edge around the sides. Fold over dough and pinch edges to seal. Repeat to make 8 packets.

5. Dip each packet into a bowl of melted butter (or brush on), and then coat with bread crumbs.

6. Place packets on a foil-lined baking sheet and bake 20 minutes, until golden brown.
