

Ingredients:
1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened
1 c. vegetable shortening
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract
8 c. (2 lbs.) powdered sugar
2-4 tbsp. milk
Instructions:
1. Cream together butter and shortening until smooth. Add vanilla and almond extracts and mix.
2. Add powdered sugar, 2 c. at a time, and mix until smooth. When all sugar is mixed in, it will appear dry.
3. Add milk and beat until light and fluffy.
4. Keep bowl covered until ready to use. Can be stored in an air-tight container in refrigerator for two weeks.
Great for filling and icing cakes and cupcakes, piping decorations, etc. Can make it thicker or thinner to suit your needs.
